Three Central States are holding talks to establish a symphony, the Tajik news agency Avesta.tj reported on Thursday.
The three states involved in discussions around the founding of the musical group are Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, and Tajikistan.
If plans go ahead, the symphony will be based in the northeastern Kazakh city Pavlodar.
The plan will be discussed during a meeting held on Friday between culture ministers of the involved states, as they convene in the Kyrgyz town of Cholpon-Ota.
Those involved in the talks are envisioning a symphony orchestra composed of 54 musicians.
Once established, the symphonic orchestra is expected to undergo a tour of the Central Asian region before heading to perform in Europe.
